The model

Delivered for you, owned by you

Whether you hold the freehold or a long leasehold, you commission the installation and our vetted local partners handle the grid connection application, procurement and installation, start to finish. We can introduce you to asset finance providers so the cost is spread rather than paid upfront, and flag any grants your site may be eligible for. Typical delivery is 2–4 months from signing, depending on Distribution Network Operator lead times.

Suitable sites include retail parks, supermarkets, motorway service areas, leisure and hospitality car parks, and Park & Ride sites.

Illustrative example

What a retail site installation typically looks like

Retail park · North London, 6 rapid bays

A retail park owner had a corner of car park that sat mostly empty outside weekend peak hours. We surveyed the site, confirmed nearby three-phase capacity was sufficient without a supply upgrade, and delivered six rapid bays through a vetted local installer. The owner kept full ownership and the resulting charging revenue; we handled the DNO application, planning, and installation programme end to end.

Property owner questions

What if I don't hold the freehold?

A long leasehold usually works fine — we look for 10+ years remaining so the investment in your site has time to make sense.

Do I need planning permission?

Often not — many chargepoint installations fall under permitted development. Where permission is needed, we handle the application as part of the installation.

What happens at the end of the agreement?

The chargepoints are yours, so that's your call — keep them running as they are, upgrade them, or bring in a different operator. Nothing gets removed by default.
